Residential Outdoor Science Instructor

We are seeking Outdoor Science Instructors with passion and experience delivering outdoor school programs and summer camps. During the fall and spring seasons, instructors deliver residential, 1-5 day Outdoor Science educational programs to 5th and 6th graders from regional elementary schools. Instructors are responsible for leading and educating a group of 12 – 15 students throughout the week, as well as facilitating large group activities. During the summer season, SNJ delivers traditional summer camp programs and tailored programs for special needs and leadership development groups. SNJ’s , week-long summer camp programs are designed with an educational and experiential focus for our resident campers. Instructors supervise the campers overnight, as well as facilitate activities such as archery, swimming, kayaking, campfires and skits. Summer Camp Instructor

We are seeking a Summer Camp Instructor at our Grizzly Creek Ranch Campus. Instructors will be directly responsible for ensuring that attending campers’ educational outcomes are met. Instructors are supervised by the Program Coordinators. Join a staff that is committed to constantly improving our outstanding outdoor education programs.

Summer Camp Counselor

We are seeking a Summer Camp Counselor at our Grizzly Creek Ranch Campus. Counselors will be responsible for shadowing and helping instructors while they lead campers through outdoor exploration and hands on science activities. Counselors will assist instructors as they facilitate traditional camp activities, such as swimming, boating, archery, ropes course, campfires, and cookouts.

Head Lifeguard

We are seeking a Head Lifeguard for our Grizzly Creek Ranch Campus. The HG will work to ensure that the aquatic areas support our residential summer campers and our leadership and special needs community groups. The HG will perform daily pool opening and closing procedures, establish pond/pool rules, and supervise all lifeguards and other instructors at aquatic activities.
