To Enter Picks & Register, click on the "Make Your Picks" tab above (there may be a several hour delay between when you make your picks and when they appear in the Tourney. Don't fret!). Note that you can pre-register your team but you won't be able to make your selections until the teams are announced on Sunday, March 16th.
To Make a Donation, click on the "Donate" tab above and select the "Donate" button. You will be redirected to paypal to donate (note that you don't need a paypal account, just a credit or debit card).

Registration
To enter the contest you must first register using the Registration Form (You can pre-register and then select your picks once the brackets have been announced on Sunday March 16th). You MUST make you picks BEFORE 9am Pacific Time on March 20th, 2008.

Deadline
The deadline for registering and entering submissions for the contest is March 20, 2008 at 9am (Pacific Time). The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Contest will be the Contest server machine(s). Contestants entering picks close to the posted deadline do so with this information in mind.

Eligibility
To be eligible to win a prize you must enter valid information for each field of the registration form by 9am (Pacific Time) on Thursday, March 20th.

Entry Fees
Entry fees are $25 for 1 entry, $45 for 2 entries, and $10 each additional entry ($55-3 entries, $65-4 entries, etc) per household. Each additional entry qualifies as an additional entry for the random drawing. Donations can either be submitted online (http://www.sierranevadajourneys.org/support.html) by clicking on the Donate button or via mail (Checks should be made payable to Sierra Nevada Journeys) Sierra Nevada Journeys, 1901 Silverada Blvd. Suite 10, Reno, NV 89512.

How to play
Contestants must pick the winners of the 63 games in the 2008 Bracket Contest, including the final four teams and eventual champion. The Play-In game is not included. (65 vs. 64)

The Bracket
Once the bracket has been submitted, the contestant is officially participating. Submitted brackets are final. Bracket picks cannot be changed once the bracket has been submitted.
Games will be graded and the bracket updated at the end of each round.

Point System
Seed Scoring x Round Number To get points a player must correctly pick a team to win a certain game. Points are then awarded based on the Seed x the Round
Example: Mac picks Iowa State (#10 seed) over UCLA (#3 seed) in a 2nd Round game.
If Iowa State wins this game Mac would be awarded 20 points based on the seed (10) times the round (2). If UCLA wins, Mac would receive 0 points.

Prize Structure
There are two types of prizes for this Tourney. First, a random drawing will be held on Monday, March 31st (each registration represents an entry for the drawing) with the "Random Drawing" Prize listed below. The other prizes will be awarded based on total points (and the tie-breakers if necessary), with their choice of any of the top three prizes (1st Place will choose first, then 2nd, and finally 3rd). There will also be a prize for the entry which comes in last-place!
