Where Curiosity and Confidence Grow Wild
We’re beginning the new year with meaningful news.
Through an extraordinary partnership with Feather River Land Trust, Sierra Nevada Journeys has received 1,025 acres of permanently conserved land in Plumas County adjacent to our Outdoor Education Camp. This land will be protected forever and used to expand outdoor science education for thousands of young people.
“I’m excited to share with you Sierra Nevada Journeys’ 2024 Annual Impact Report.
This year’s report captures the heart of our mission — highlighting the reach, depth, and impact of our programs across Northern Nevada and Northern California. From residential Outdoor Science School and Girls in STEM Camp to our in-school and community-based programs, the numbers and stories speak for themselves. I hope it fills you with pride and excitement for the difference your support is making in the lives of the students and communities we serve.”
- Sean Hill, CEO
We’ve positively impacted more than 330,000 children with our mission to deliver science-based education programs to develop critical thinking skills and inspire natural resource stewardship. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we offer a variety of STEM programs that borrow the best practices from formal and informal education to make the most impact from every hour we spend with students.
