Summer Day Camp 2025

Sierra Nevada Journeys will be hosting day camps for elementary-aged students for Summer 2025.

Sierra Nevada Journeys, in partnership with Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, is excited for a series of STEAM-based day camps for youth ages 6-8 years old. Each week Junior Explorers Camp focuses on a different theme.
Camp runs from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and we’ve got you covered with before and aftercare (8:00-9:15 a.m. and 3:30-5:00 p.m.). Day campers will participate in outdoor exploration, hiking, science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and team building.
Daily schedule:
8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. - Before Care
9:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Camp Activities
3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - After Care
Cost: $275 per week and $25 for morning care and $25 for after care (2024 rates; subject to change based on updated program for 2025). Lunch and snacks are included. We’re looking forward to an amazing summer with you and your budding explorers.
