Funding and support for the development of the rural and southern Nevada curriculum was provided by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation and Technology (OSIT) Nevada Regional Networks Grant program for Rural and Southern Nevada. You’ll find lessons for third, fourth and fifth grade levels that have been specifically designed featuring the unique land and watersheds of rural areas in Nevada and Southern Nevada.

Four Education Nonprofits Work Together and Create Alternative Learning Programs for Students
Sierra Nevada Journeys partnered with Great Basin Institute, Great Basin Outdoor School and Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation to create virtual STEM lessons. Learn more about these free resources for K-12th grade students.
