10 am to 3 pm: Arts & Ag Trail Event
3 pm to 5 pm: Tour of Sierra Nevada Journeys in Portola, CA, at 3 pm. Then, after the tour, 4 pm, enjoy beverages with us at The Brewing Lair in Blairsden, CA

Are you planning to attend the Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail event? We invite you to end your day with Sierra Nevada Journeys and take a guided tour with CEO Sean Hill, of our Environmental Education Camp.

Explore the 515-acre camp and learn about running a camp operation that hosts up to 260 students each day for about 10 months out of the year. We have 7,500 visitors at camp on a yearly basis that attend outdoor school to learn science, team building, leadership skills, and social-emotional learning.

We’re also looking for your input on a new camp concept that we’re developing, Adult Camp. Think summer camp just for adults where you participate in all the fun activities that you experienced as a kid.

After the tour, join us for beverages up the road at The Brewing Lair. The craft brewery is co-founded by Susan and Rich DeLano, who met each other several years ago while working together at Sierra Nevada Journeys as Outdoor Program Instructors.

3 pm: Tour, Sierra Nevada Journeys, 5900 Grizzly Road, Portola, CA. Meet at the main entrance to the Lodge.

4 pm: Beers, The Brewing Lair with Sierra Nevada Journeys, 67007 CA-70, Blairsden, CA

About The

Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail Event

You can also register for private tours of some working ranch sites and learn about the history and current uses and operations. The Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail is a family-friendly event with children’s activities, artist demonstrations, and food and fiber education.
