Building with Biomimicry!

Have you ever wondered where we get the designs for some machines? Humans often take inspiration from nature! In this lesson, you will learn about biomimicry by exploring what tools humans have copied from nature and then even design and build a boat, based on something from nature!

Register for Building with Biomimircry, Thursday, May 21, 11:00 a.m. - noon.

Materials:
- 1 pencil
- 2 sheets of paper or notebook
- tinfoil, roughly 1’ x 1’
- a big bowl, plastic tub or sink filled with 2” of water
- water, enough to fill your bowl or container

Optional: Towels or baking tray with edges to help keep water contained and off floor or tables
