Family Camps are the perfect way to get outdoors and enjoy a weekend away with your family. Grizzly Creek Ranch is located in Portola, California, just 50 minutes north of Reno and 2 hours east of Sacramento. Reserve your cabin (sleeps up to 12 people).

Your getaway includes exclusive use of a private cabin and restroom, meals and activities. Led by Sierra Nevada Journeys' instructors, your days will be filled with organized camp activities. Enjoy snowshoeing, sledding and cross-country skiing (pending snow conditions) during March camps and hiking, kayaking and archery for the rest of the season. Also, play basketball or gaga ball with your kids on our various ball courts or group games on the lawn. It is a stress-free way to camp with meals included like picnic lunches and barbecue cookouts.
