Join Sierra Nevada Journeys for a hands-on nature exploration. Learn about what animals need to survive as you explore their habitats and find evidence of a health or unhealthy habitat. Explore Rancho San Rafael’s nature areas of wetlands, plants and wildlife through a scavenger hunt. Search for evidence of food, water, shelter, and space as well as dangers to the animals’ habitats. This family-friendly event is a great opportunity to spend time together outdoors and in nature.

Northern Nevada Science & Technology Festival will be celebrating a week of FREE community events throughout Northern Nevada. Multiple family-friendly events will be happening throughout the week.
