Participate in hands-on natural science sessions where you will learn about various aspects of our ecosystems. Do amazing challenges and build confidence while progressing through our challenge course. Design like an engineer and learn from guest speakers from local industries. Make friends that will last a lifetime and discover how science can be cool and exciting.
Volunteers from Women in Tesla, Envirolution and Sierra Nevada Journeys will spend the weekend with you. Also, meet women already working in the STEM field and learn about their journeys in science, their passions and the vast possibilities with STEM careers.
Thanks to a grant awarded by Tesla, the Girls in STEM camp is only a $20 registration fee. Accommodations, meals and programming are included. Camp starts on Friday at 5 pm, and ends at 1 pm on Sunday. Girls in STEM is held at our beautiful Grizzly Creek Ranch camp, located 50 minutes north of Reno. We have modern facilities and 515 acres for hiking, exploring and learning.
